From a modest engineering workshop in Surat, the Army has grown into a trusted force of engineering precision, performance innovation, and market leadership. What began with manufacturing parts for textile machines soon transformed into a full-scale operation, creating advanced solutions in textile weaving, from TFO machines to power looms, Jacquard systems, and high-speed weaving technologies.

Growth Journey
An engineering workshop started producing parts for textile machines, finally beginning the manufacture of T.F.O. machines.
Army Impex was promoted into the textile machinery business with a turnover of ₹12–15 Cr.
Army Looms tried to break the giant monopoly in the power loom sector and became India's 2nd largest power loom manufacturer within 3 years with a turnover of around ₹85 Cr.
Army Jacquard launched, India's first Jacquard machine manufacturer and holder of the patent for Jacquard design innovation, making it currently the largest Indian Jacquard Machine Manufacturer (~₹120 Cr turnover).
In the field of imported weaving machinery, Army Jacquard started importing high-speed Airjet, Waterjet, and Rapier looms and expanded quickly.
In 2024, Army Solar set a new benchmark with its quality-centric solar module division, built on 30+ years of engineering excellence.
Today, Army Solar stands at the convergence of precision manufacturing and energy innovation—ready to redefine India’s solar landscape.
An engineering workshop was started, producing textile machine parts. Later, manufacturing of T.F.O. machines began.
Army Impex launched for importing high-speed textile machines. Began researching and studying advanced textile technologies.
Army Looms established for large-scale power looms machine manufacturing, breaking a monopoly in this sector.
Army Jacquard launched. Patent was awarded by GoI.
Became one of the largest suppliers of textile weaving machineries with wide range of products – Shuttle looms, Rapier looms, Electronic Jacquards, Airjet looms & Waterjet looms etc.
Army Solar Energy Pvt. Ltd. incorporated with a vision to become a leading solar panel manufacturer by 2030.
Fully automatic, AI-enabled solar panel production line with 3GW annual capacity.
Plans to set up 1GW capacity TOPCon solar cell facility.
